What the tool does

myPCSmatch compares broad housing-search areas using selected lifestyle preferences, documented route snapshots, Census housing estimates, and EPA built-environment data. It is designed to help you identify places to investigate—not to choose a home for you.

What the tool does not do

myPCSmatch does not provide legal, tax, financial, mortgage, real-estate, appraisal, inspection, safety, school, or commute advice. It does not establish loan eligibility, affordability, property value, housing availability, school assignment, neighborhood quality, or a guaranteed travel time. Using the site or submitting a form does not create a lender-client, agent-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship.

Check the actual property

Conditions change. Before renting, buying, financing, or otherwise acting, independently verify the exact address, route and gate, reporting-time traffic, current price and availability, total monthly cost, property condition, utilities, boundaries, HOA documents, insurance, and every other fact material to your decision.

Fair housing

Results are based on the preferences presented in the quiz and do not use race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, disability, or another protected characteristic. The tool does not rate residents, schools, safety, or neighborhood quality. Read our Fair Housing Commitment.

The site links to and uses information from third parties. We work to identify sources and limitations, but we do not control those sources or guarantee that every external fact remains current, complete, or available. See Method & sources for the model’s evidence and limits.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or harmful material, or use the tool to discriminate in a housing-related decision.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, myPCSmatch and its creators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for decisions made based on the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so this section applies only to the extent permitted.
